Gaming smartphones continue to evolve, and Infinix is pushing the limits once again with the launch of the new Infinix GT 50 Pro, a device designed for mobile gamers who demand powerful performance, advanced cooling technology, and competitive-level features.
Officially priced from ₱25,999 in the Philippines, the Infinix GT 50 Pro is already attracting attention for one standout feature rarely seen in its price category — an active HydroFlow Liquid Cooling system designed to keep temperatures under control during intense gaming sessions.
Unlike traditional smartphone cooling solutions that rely mainly on vapor chambers and passive heat dissipation, the GT 50 Pro introduces a more advanced cooling architecture that actively circulates coolant through internal channels using a dual-piezoelectric pump system. According to Infinix, the technology helps reduce overheating, prevent thermal throttling, and maintain stable frame rates even during extended gaming sessions.
The device also features one of the largest cooling systems ever included in the GT series. It comes with a massive 7,700mm² 3D vapor chamber and a total cooling area of 32,700mm², significantly larger than its predecessor. This allows heat to spread more efficiently throughout the phone, helping maintain smooth performance under heavy workloads.
Powering the GT 50 Pro is the MediaTek Dimensity 8400 Ultimate processor paired with 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 4.1 storage. The smartphone is designed to support high-refresh-rate gaming, including native 144FPS gameplay for supported titles, making it one of Infinix’s most ambitious gaming-focused devices to date.
On the front, users get a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and up to 4,500 nits of peak brightness. The display is built for competitive gaming and fast-paced content consumption, offering smoother animations and more responsive controls.
The GT 50 Pro also introduces upgraded pressure-sensitive GT Triggers, allowing players to customize controls for shooter and MOBA games. These trigger buttons can even be mapped to different functions outside gaming, adding versatility to the device.
Battery life is another major highlight. The smartphone packs a large 6,500mAh battery with support for 45W wired charging, 30W wireless charging, and wireless bypass charging through the optional GT MagCharge Cooler accessory. This setup is intended to reduce battery heat while gaming for long periods.
In terms of cameras, the GT 50 Pro features a 50-megapixel main sensor with optical image stabilization, paired with an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera and a 13-megapixel front camera for selfies and video calls. While gaming remains the phone’s primary focus, Infinix aims to deliver a balanced experience for everyday users as well.
The Philippine pricing starts at ₱25,999 for the 12GB + 256GB variant, while the higher 12GB + 512GB model is priced at ₱29,999. Customers who pre-order can also receive promotional bundles, discounts, and gaming accessories worth up to ₱11,999.
Online reactions have been mixed but highly engaged. Many gaming enthusiasts have praised the liquid-cooling innovation and gaming-focused features, while others have debated whether the higher price remains competitive against rival gaming smartphones from Poco, iQOO, and other brands. Discussions across gaming communities show strong curiosity about whether the HydroFlow system can truly deliver a noticeable advantage during real-world gameplay.
With esports continuing to grow in the Philippines and mobile gaming becoming more demanding every year, the Infinix GT 50 Pro is positioning itself as a serious contender in the premium gaming smartphone market. Its combination of liquid cooling, high refresh-rate gaming, mechanical-style triggers, and flagship-level performance could make it one of the most talked-about gaming phones of 2026.
