Nurse Found Dead in Abra, Police Probe Underway

A nurse found dead in Abra is now the subject of a police investigation after authorities discovered the victim’s body in Bangued on Wednesday morning, June 3, 2026.

The victim was identified as Tam-jay Colet, a resident of Tumalip, Licuan-Baay, Abra. Police said his body was found in Sitio Linasin, Zone 1, Bangued.

Nurse Found Dead in Abra With Feet Bound

According to Daily Tribune, police said the victim sustained multiple stab wounds and was found wrapped in a motorcycle cover and plastic bag.

Authorities also reported that the victim’s feet were bound using packaging tape.

Police responded to the area after receiving a report from a concerned citizen. Investigators also recovered a blue motorcycle parked beside the body.

Investigation Still Ongoing

The motive and circumstances behind the killing remain under investigation. Scene of the Crime Operatives were requested to process the area and gather evidence.
