Filipina tennis sensation Alex Eala delivered the biggest victory of her young career by defeating defending Wimbledon champion Iga Swiatek 7-6(9), 6-2. Playing on Centre Court, the 21-year-old displayed remarkable composure against the world No. 3. She saved two set points during a tense first-set tiebreak. Eala then dominated the second set with aggressive baseline play and consistent shot-making.
