Marvel’s Wolverine PS5 finally has a release date, with Insomniac Games’ upcoming Logan adventure set to launch on September 15, 2026.

The game is developed by Insomniac Games, the studio behind the acclaimed Marvel’s Spider-Man franchise, in collaboration with Marvel Games and Sony Interactive Entertainment.

Marvel’s Wolverine PS5 Brings a Darker Logan Story

Unlike Insomniac’s Spider-Man games, Marvel’s Wolverine is expected to deliver a darker and more brutal superhero experience.

According to Marvel, the game follows Logan as he searches for answers about his past while unleashing claw combat, rage, and relentless determination.

The official PlayStation page describes the game as a single-player action-adventure title built for PlayStation 5 consoles. It will not be available on PS4. PlayStation

What Fans Can Expect

Marvel’s Wolverine will feature fast and ferocious combat, cinematic action, and a story that explores Logan’s violent past. PlayStation said the game will take players to locations such as Madripoor, Canada, and Tokyo.

Familiar Marvel characters are also expected to appear, including Mystique, Omega Red, and the Reavers.

Insomniac Expands Its Marvel Universe

The release is another major step for Insomniac Games after its success with Marvel’s Spider-Man and Marvel’s Spider-Man 2.

While Spider-Man focused on speed, heart, and heroism, Wolverine appears to lean into rage, mystery, and survival. That shift could make the game feel very different from Insomniac’s previous Marvel titles.
